Game Boy Games
Hey! I’m developing Game Boy games. Here is what you can expect:
No Digital Releases |
The games I’m producing are aimed at collectors. They are meant to have a home on your shelf. There are exceptions: demo’s and a version for those who want to keep their game unopened.
Physical Releases |
There are two kinds: General and Limited Pressed (LP).
Either will be DMG or Color but never both. Here’s a chart to better explained:
GB DMG | GB Color |
General | Limited Pressed |
Limited Pressed | General |
Limited Pressed | x |
x | Limited Pressed |
General | x |
x | General |
General release games are more affordable and aimed at a larger audience of collectors. They are the Game Boy production you are accustomed to.
Limited Pressed (LP) games are premium editions with a unique criteria.
You’re probably here for Night of the Living Dead. A lot of people have been asking for the Kickstarter. Well here’s the answer… no.
In the end the risk are the same, and I don’t have to lose 5%. So what is the goal? I’m going to pitch here, and try something bold.
I have 3 games, a plan for production, and means for production. All I’m missing is funding for development. Doing a pre-order for all 3 might be risky. NOTLD will bring the most attention. CRUSH & Gray Death are the closet to being finished. I’ll be having this discussion in my discord.
Gray Death
Gray Death takes place in the midst of chaos. A cosmic evil called The Crying God has enveloped the moon as a way to rule earth. He turns people into monsters, demons, and sentient human goo. Our hero Gray returns to his hideout taken over by demons and his wife missing. Inspired by Megan Man, haunted by Castlvania.
CRUSH
The year is 40XX. A war corporation, known as CRUSH, create enhanced super soldiers.
The organic properties of a cadet are replaced with cybernetic systems. Parts of the brain are replaced with bio controllers. Often against their will. The procedure is slow and painful. They are both alive and dead.
But one soldier has awakened and seeks revenge in the top down shooter for Game Boy Color.
Night of the Living Dead
Night of the Living Dead: The Video Game is a retelling of George A Romero’s classic movie for your Gameboy or handheld device. You will follow Ben as he navigates the oncoming apocalypse to get back to his family. The story is told through both top-down and side scrolling, gun toting action.
Regardless of one or all games, here are the options.
